We created a new marketing strategy for the Entrepreneurial Management Center {EMC} to better support and communicate its programs both nationally and in San Diego. It was an good opportunity to work with a marketing veteran, Bernhard Schroeder, who helped launch companies such as Amazon and Yahoo!.
We adopted a marketing strategy centered around young & aspiring entrepreneurs. Positioning the EMC as a global leader in entrepreneurship, we redesigned all marketing materials and adopted many elements from leading business brands.
To increase site visibility we performed SEO (search engine optimization) on the site and segmented our market into seven different customer groups. This allowed us to create better targeted email and direct mail campaigns.
The EMC website was created to help position and support the EMC's programs. We used Salesforce.com to maintain the user database and its front end is coded in CSS and validated XHTML. During development we spent a large amount of time trying to create a usable website with good graphics.
As a part of the marketing stategy for the EMC, we also implemented an email campaign using Vertical Response. To the right is an example of one of the email designs.
The goal for this campaign was to gain & monitor readership of the newsletter and other announcement through professional looking emails and good writing.
eDoctr was created as a communications platform for physicians that was easy to use and increased productivity. To create a brand we used a blue and white schema to convey a simple and clean feeling.
Another challenge was to convey the benefits and advantages of the eDoctr platform to investors and potential customers. To do this we developed many graphics, including the one at right. They were designed to support the eDoctr branding, and positioning as the easiest and most useful communications platform for physicions.
The eDoctr website is an example of a product that was created with a lot of help from the customer. We designed this product to maximize usability for non computer-friendly physicians.
We used a simple design that provides good customer feedback and contextual support. It is coded in PHP, CSS, & HTML, and uses a MySQL backend database.
Unitemed was designed as a business to address the growing need for US citizens to travel overseas for cheaper medical care {medical tourism}. The above logo symbolizes the soft and trustworthy feel we were trying to create.
